ベルギーが誇るドラマー／音楽思想家 Eric Thielemansが京都に登場！ 実験音楽、ジャズ、インディー・フォークまでジャンルを越え、Mika Vainio、Charlemagne Palestine、Oren Ambarchi、Marshall Allen ら世界的アーティストと共演を重ねてきた彼は、音と空間、そして“聴くこと”の本質を探求し続ける第一人者。国際的評価を受ける独自のスタイルで、ここ京都に“音の現在地”を描きます。 今回はPA機材を使わないフロアライブ。生音の繊細かつダイナミックな表現が空間を満たし、演奏者と観客が同じ呼吸をする、極限まで近い距離でのパフォーマンス。 共演には、関西即興シーンを縦横無尽に駆ける、ワタンベ、 イガキアキコ、山内弘太の３名が集結。交わされる視線、呼吸、予測不能の展開──4人の音楽家が、この夜だけの即興セッションを織り上げます。

Eric Thielemans | エリック・ティールマンス
ドラマー、パーカッショニスト。音楽思想家。 音楽シーンや分野を横断しながら、ティールマンスは自らの羅針盤を頼りに旅を続けている。 「Snare is a bell」、「Sprang」、「Aural Mist」、「Bata Baba Loka」などの共鳴的なソロ作品や、実験音楽、ジャズ、インディー・フォーク／ポップ／ロックシーンのミュージシャンとの多くのコラボレーションで知られるティールマンスは、境界線を押し広げ、意識的なオーラル・スペースとテリトリーを拡大し続けている。

他にも、Marshall Allen（Sun Ra）、Tape Cuts Tape、Distance Light & Sky、Jozef Dumoulin、Trevor Dunn、Shahzad Ismaily、Vaast Colson、Nico Dockxなど多数の作品に参加。 2022年11月、ティールマンスは書籍『On Resonance』を出版。この集大成的な書籍作品では、会話、メモ書き、楽譜を通して日常的なマジックを探求している。 この本の出版を記念して、ティールマンスはCASSTL（現代フランドルの画家Luc TuymansとArocha-Schraenenのアートスペース）のために、トーク、コンサート、パフォーマンス、アート作品、彫刻、インスタレーションを含む48時間のスコアをキュレーションした。

Travelling across music scenes and disciplines, Thielemans navigates by means of his own compass.
Most known for his resonant solo works like a Snare is a Bell, Sprang, Aural Mist and Bata Baba Loka, and many collaborations with musicians in the experimental music scene as well as the Jazz scene and indie folk/pop/rock scenes, Thielemans keeps on pushing the borders and expanding conscious aural spaces and territories.
Recently, and in some recent past, Thielemans has collaborated in trio together with the late Mika Vainio & Charlemagne Palestine (PVT released on Godbear April 2020), a trio together with Oren Ambarchi and Charlemagne Palestine (PAT released on Godbear July 2022) , a duo together with Oren Ambarchi (Double Consciousness released in 2023 on Matière Mémoire, and Kind Regards, released in 2025 on AD93), a duo with Billy Hart (Talking about the Weather), Chantal Acda (The Sparkle in our Flaws, Bounce Back, Puwawau, Saturday Moon), Marshall Allen (Sun Ra), Tape Cuts Tape, Distance Light & Sky, Jozef Dumoulin, Trevor Dunn, Shahzad Ismaily, Vaast Colson, Nico Dockx, Laurie Anderson, and many more. In November 2022 Thielemans released a book publication On Resonance: Scores, Notes & Conversations, a culminative work that encompasses and surfaces the underlying currents within his life in and with music. Within r-e-s-o-n-a-n-c-e he investigates the everyday magic in contemporary artistic practice through conversations, note writing and score writing. To explore such a vast problem Thielemans is convinced it requires multiple vantage points and knowledge registers from which to approach the question. More and more his personal research and output crosses the borders of music discipline to borrow practices and ways of thinking from mainly the performative arts, architecture, and the contemporary visual arts. It also pushes him to dive ever more deeply into site specific work, where the very specific yet eternal now is collectively (both the musicians/artists and public/participants) explored and experienced through our ears and spatial awareness, bringing the experience of the music inside of the larger question of what it means to be an embodied spirit, a human being, in our everyday spaces and places. For the occasion of the release of the book Thielemans curated a 48 hour score for CASSTL (the art space of contemporary Flemish painter Luc Tuymans and artistic collaborators Arocha-Schraenen) with talks, concerts, performances, art work, sculptures and installations.

Research mapping how artists connect with what happens inside and outside them through their practice. – *Development-Oriented Grant Flemish Community (2018-2019)* – Project focused on exploring places together with other musicians, theorists, and artists. – *The Color in Shadow. 1-year research project 2018.* – Research project at AP between the academy and conservatory. Research into the preconditions (climatology, institutional parameters, acoustics, light, etc.) of empty spaces. – **Vingertop Of Hand masterclass Nico Dockx & Eric Thielemans (2016-2017)**- Masterclass in collaboration with the Academy Antwerp, Conservatory, and UA (Department of Sociology). Release of the album and booklet ‘I could do this for hours’ with drawings from the research day at the Academy Antwerp Track Report 2017. – *Workshops & Masterclasses Music (2002-Present)* – Conservatory Antwerp and Lemmens Institute Leuven: drum lessons, ensemble lessons, improvisation methods. – **Workshop ‘Repertoire’ (2015)**- A-PASS BRUSSELS – *Reflections (2013)* – Reflective project supported by a Development-Oriented Grant from the Flemish Community. Project carried out together with visual artist Vaast Colson. Dialogues focused on our artistic practices, the relationship to the everyday aspects of the practice, and biographical elements.

イガキアキコ | Akiko Igaki
音楽家・作曲家・ヴァイオリニスト。 「情景が視える音楽」をモットーに、映像作品や舞台などの劇伴制作や様々なジャンル・編成の作曲を手がける。 また、にしもとひろことのデュオ「たゆたう」や女性5人のトライバルミュージックユニット「Colloid」を自身のメインバンドに、エチオピアと日本の融合音楽「エチオピアジア」や「ジョンソンtsuバンド」のほかONI（あふりらんぽ）バンドやUAなど、幅広いジャンルの演奏サポートやインプロヴィゼーションライブも行っている。
山内弘太 | Kota Yamauchi
1986年生まれ、京都・堀川団地在住のギタリスト。歌もの、即興、映像、ダンスとの共演など国内外問わず様々な形態、環境で活動。折坂悠太（band）をはじめ数多くのバンドに参加し、演奏活動のほか、音楽イベントの企画、鯨の鳴き声レコードのリスニング会、サウンドエンジニア、作曲・楽曲提供など幅広く活動している。 Born in 1986, based in the Horikawa Housing Complex in Kyoto. Guitarist engaged in improvisational performances in diverse settings through collaborations with singer-songwriters, visual artists, and dancers, both in Japan and abroad. Has performed with numerous bands, including Yuta Orisaka (band).
