テーマ：「小さな世界たち」
21世紀が始まって４半世紀がたちました。なんだかこの世界は今までより大きくなったと同時に小さくなったように感じます。
　オンラインを使えば離れた人たちとの距離を簡単に縮められるようになりましたが、その反面、すぐ隣にいる人たちとの関係は希薄になったようにも思います。そんな中、生活のなかでリアルに会う人たちとの関係を取り戻そうとしている人たちがいる、と聞いてもさほど驚くことではないでしょう。
　すごくマニアックなものからみんながよく知っているものまで、京都にはいろんなコミュニティがあります。あなたは何か興味を持っているものはありますか？それぞれの小さな世界を見せ合って、お互いの世界を少しだけ広げましょう。

We are very excited to announce PechaKucha Night Kyoto Vol.51 will be held on Saturday, May 23rd. PechaKucha Night began in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for young designers to show their work and has now spread to over 1200 cities worldwide.

Theme: Small Words
We’ve just wrapped up the first quarter of the 21st century. Somehow the world feels simultaneously bigger and smaller than even before. It’s easy to shrink the distance between any physical expanse online but sometimes it can come at the cost of connecting with our own neighbors. It’s no surprise that some of us turn to local communities to re-establish that human touch in our lives. From the broadly applicable to the hyper-specific, Kyoto has communities of all kinds. Do you belong to one? Make our world a little bigger: share your small world with us!

■プレゼンテーション形式
プレゼンテーションは、20ｘ20、つまり20枚のスライドを20秒ごとに進めて、合計6分40秒で行うものです。このイベントは、バイリンガル（日本語・英語）で進行し、皆さんのプレゼンテーションも、両言語を使用されることを奨励しています。日本語のみでのプレゼンテーションも可能ですが、キーワードや要点を簡単な英語でスライドに含めて下さい。
このイベントでプレゼンテーションをしたい！とお考えの方は、5月10日(月)18:00までに以下のフォームを記入してください。

Please consider joining us as a presenter for 20 x 20 — 20 images x 20 seconds each — a presentation and talk for 6 minutes and 40 seconds. This is a bilingual event so we encourage all presenters to use both Japanese and English as much as possible; for example, if speaking in English please try to include translations of your key points in Japanese on your slides.
