白虎者出身の舞踏家 今 貂子とエレクトロニクスを融合したアコーディオン弾きのryotaro、そしてOHPを用いたヴィジュアルによるライヴパフォーマンス”TIME PAINTING”アーティスト、仙石彬人によって2012年結成。即興ではあるが根底に流れる、それぞれの頭の中にある物語や風景、記憶や想像を一つの作品として体現する。
今 貂子
舞踏家、振付家、今貂子舞踏研究所/舞踏カンパニー倚羅座主宰。 ’80年白虎社創立に参加。海外及び国内公演に出演、また、衣裳デザイン製作を担当。‘94年解散により、独立。’99年舞踏ワークショップ開始。2000年ワークショップを母胎に舞踏カンパニー倚羅座結成。’05年ヨーロッパ公演ツアー（スペイン、フランス、ドイツ）、各地で成功をおさめる。’07⁻’16年旧五條楽園歌舞練場にて連続公演。’16年-‘20年KYOTO舞踏館「秘色」ロングラン上演。‘19年還暦記念「闇の艶」公演（先斗町歌舞練場）。’20年今貂子舞踏公演「金剛石-Diamond-」公演（UrBANGUILD Kyoto）にて、令和2年度文化庁芸術祭優秀賞受賞。以降’21年「愛ノ嵐」、’22年「彗星」を上演しコロナ三部作として結実。‘24年倚羅座舞踏公演「瑠璃坏（るりのつき）」、‘24年倚羅座舞踏公演「真珠と斧」。’21年より、「おんなのぼくしさん」-飯名尚人・今貂子共同作品-に取り組む。日本の芸能の源流にみられる「たまふり（命の活性化）」の力に支えられたアバンギャルドな舞踏の探求を通じ、独自の境地を開拓。

Butoh Dancer, Choreographer Artistic Director of Butoh Company KIRAZA and Director of Ima Tenko Butoh Studio.
Tenko was born in 1958 and studied Butoh from Isamu Osuga, who apprenticed with Tatsumi Hijikata, one of the founders of Butoh. From 1980 to 1994, Tenko was a core member of BYAKKO-SHA―one of the most acclaimed Butoh groups, performing with distinct recognition both abroad and locally. She also designed and produced costumes for the company. In 2000, she created the Butoh Company KIRAZA in Kyoto. From 2007 to 2016, she performed constantly in Gojo Rakuen Kaburenjo, a historical theater in Kyoto. In 2016, she began a long-run performance of her solo work ‘HISOKU’ at the Kyoto Butoh Kan Theater, a theatre specializing in Butoh, and she welcomed audiences from 68 countries around the world until the theatre shut down in March 2020 due to the pandemic of COVID-19. In 2020, Tenko became the first Butoh dancer to win the Award of Excellence at the 75th edition of the National Arts Festival by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan for her performance “Diamond” at UrBANGUILD.She explores and pushes the boundaries of her arts and herself in the avant-garde field of Butoh. Her arts are supported by the Shinto practice of Tamafuri, “reinvigorating the soul,” a practice seen at the heart of Japanese performing arts. As one of Japan’s leading butoh dancers, she uses Kyoto as a base to breathe new life and vigor into the field of Butoh.

エレクトロニクスを融合したアコーディオン弾き。96年からナスノミツル (アルタードステイツ)、三条とおる (EP-4)らの［elements］に加入後、数々のアングラの巨匠達との共演を経て2010年からUrBANGUILDのブッキングを務め、FOuR DANCERS, Velvet Moon等、数々のイヴェントを企画。今貂子、マルセロ・エヴェリン、由良部正美、矢﨑悠悟、きたまり等、共演したダンサーは数知れず。梅津和時らと中山ラビのバックを15年勤め、フランスを中心に海外での活動も精力的に行い、’15年にはHi Seoul Festival 、’19年には釜山国際即興舞踊祝祭、Bridge Dance Festival (Chicago) に招聘される。’10, ’11年と、coba主催のイヴェントに参加。’20年音楽を担当した今貂子舞踏公演「金剛石-Diamond- 」（UrBANGUILD ）が文化庁芸術祭優秀賞受賞。2024年より一児の父。

2004年より「時間に絵を描く」をテーマに、リキッドライティングの技法を用いたライヴ・ヴィジュアル・パフォーマンス “TIME PAINTING”をはじめる。
楽器を演奏するかのように３台のOHPを同時に操りながら紡がれる光の絵は、絶えず変化し続け２度と同じにはならないその場限りの物語を描く。LIVEという表現方法にこだわり、あらゆるジャンルのミュージシャンやダンサー、アーティストとのコラボレートワークを活動の場としている。
2020年からは映像や写真など、パフォーマンス以外のメディアにおける光の表現を探求するプロジェクト「光響事業」もスタート。”AMBIENT KYOTO2023″で展示された山本精一の「Silhouette」や、る鹿「体がしびれる 頭がよろこぶ」のMVなどを手がけている。

2006年：北京ダンスアカデミー芸術コミュニケーション学科卒。
2010年：舞踏家「桂勘」に師事。
2011年から北京、上海を中心に１５都市でダンスプロジェクトを企画制作、日本のダンサーや芸術家を中国に招聘。2014年：舞踏白狐系」を結成。初来日、日本の伝統芸術に自己のルーツを見出す。
2016年: 金剛流能楽師「廣田幸稔」氏に師事。
主な振付作品「時幽門」「胎児の夢」他。
2022年：Arts PLAN DU合同会社設立。国際都市京都を拠点に、伝統と現代をつなぐ文化・芸術・教育を目的として国際舞踏祭、セミナーシンポジウム、ワークショップ等を企画制作、内外で活動中。
After I graduated from Beijing Dance Academy, I met Mr. Kan, a Japanese Butoh dancer. Since 2010, I have been holding collaborative productions between Japanese and Chinese dancers in China. After mastering the N1 level of the Japanese language proficiency test, I was allowed to become a disciple of Kyoto Kongo school shite-kata Yukitoshi Hirota. In the depths of Kyoto’s culture and art, and the historical influence of Buddhist art such as Zen, for the Chinese, Kyoto is a place to rediscover their roots. Through Mr. Kan’s activities as a member of the executive committee of the Kyoto International Butoh festival, which has been running since 2018, he said that he would like to hold a festival that proposes the modernization of this Noh tradition in China as well. Maruska Ronchi butoh dancer, choreographer and performer.
Graduated in Contemporary Dance at CIMD International Center Dance and Mouvement of
Milan. She met butoh in 2009 with Atsushi Takenouchi, and, since then, researching in butoh
under his guidance, becoming his assistant in JINEN butoh school in Italy where she had the
possibility to dive deeply into butoh practice for 12 years. Besides, she met many other
important teacher, among others, Yoshito Ohno sensei, Masaki Iwana, Yumiko Yoshioka,
Minako Seki, Carlotta Ikeda, Sankai Yuku.
She is now independently developing her own approach to the creative process; and also
collaborating with other artists to make and developing original way for new creations.
She discovers in Butoh a new approach to dance, more closed to ancient ritual and to spiritual
world, finding a special unique beauty in each individual, and in each manifestation of nature.
She’s now combining Contemporary Dance, Theater and Somatic Practices background, with
Butoh, to find different entrances into a “dance state”, where the dancer makes visible the
bonds between things, between the visible and “invisible” world.
She uses oneiric language, images from subconscious, to create her own dance. Digging in
the body’s movements. She like to conceive the creative process, and dance process, like an
alchemical process of dissolution and concretion, and reiteration of the work on the body’s
matter, where body and mind become one. As a process of transmutation.In her dances she
explores different paths. As in the alchemical process, she’s looking for the conjunction of
opposites, sulfur and mercury, Sun and Moon, light and shadow, life and death, Apollo and
Dionisus, order and caos, active and passive. She explores how the movement creates the
images and how images create movement, in a double and mutual interconnection.
Her dance is strongly inspired also by Nature, for many year she practice and danced with
trees, flower, stones, water, rivers, sea, connecting with stars, moon and sun.
With her performance Red Moon she was investigating women energies and power, dedicating
this performance to Nasrin Sotoudeh, trying to rise awareness about her case in defense of
human rights.
She has been invited to perform in many theaters and festivals in different countries in Europe
(France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland, Spain), in Canada and Japan.
She is the co-funder of HAIKUMU international project with Ursula Pehlke and Willian Lopes,
and Monta Tanto project with Ainara Lopez. She also danced under direction of Joan Laage,
and Seisaku (Ex..it Festival 2019). Recently she participated at Sens-Ability project initiated by
the corean artist Gio (Hyunju Shin), a collaborative online experiment with 14 multinational
artists with online content production, online improvisation, workshops and Lab.
She is now performing in Italy supporting the protest against authoritarianism and strong
discrimination happening now a day in this country.
Besides her activity as a performer she has strong activities as “butoh seeder”, guiding butoh
workshop in studio and in the nature all over the world.
