京都/関西を中心に活動する、Christopher Fryman (cornet)、東京月桃三味線 aka 坂田淳 (三味線)、広本雄次 (tabla)、KND (electronics)の4人が
2018年から2022年にかけてUrBANGUILD、Battering Ram、Soft Studioで行ったインプロヴァイズド・セッションの録音を
JUZU a.k.a. MOOCHYがリコンストラクトした作品がアナログリリース。
立体的で空間性のある音像をマスタリングで表現したSINKICHIも参加の５時間の時の庭。

Cinematographer, Filmmaker, Composer, Cornet Player, Butoh Dancer

Born in England in 1941. Grew up in Toronto, Canada, and has lived in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and settled in Japan for last 49 years. Worked in TV and Film from 1959, beginning CBC Canada, then as documentary film cameraman on films for National Geographic, and programs for BBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC, Has been a musician and composer for the past 35 years, composing and playing music for Butoh and contemporary dance, in Japanese temples, art galleries, and special theaters. Plays in Kyoto Brass Band, Tone Friends Dance Band, and runs the free improvisation groups ART OF MUSIC and UNKNOWN DIRECTIONS

第二次世界大戦中に英国マンチェスターで生まれカナダで育ち、その後オーストラリア、パプアニューギニア、東京を経由し、30年前より京都に移り住む。 映画、テレビ、劇場で40年間働き、その後フィルム事業から引退し、作曲家・トランペット奏者としてもジャズバンド、ジプシー音楽、フリーインプロヴィゼーション、舞踏音楽などを手がけている。

東京月桃三味線 a.k.a. 坂田 淳 (三味線)
Tokyo Ghetto Shamisen is a contemporary Japanese musician whose free-spirited style offsets the traditional Japanese shamisen.
He transforms typical shamisen melodies into contemporary music whose distinctly rhythmic quality resonates deeply with listeners. He performes in Japan and around the world and locations as varied as busking on busy Tokyo streets to playing in temples and shrines. Now based in a small village in North Kyoto and get influenced by his daily life and the beauty of the scenery that surrounds him, and the changes of the four seasons.

三味線奏者、音楽家。
2008年、日本の風土に根差した土着的な音楽を志し、東京を拠点に活動を開始する。 2012年、拠点を京都に移し、自然に寄り沿い四季折々の機微を感じながら、自給農を通じて土と向き合う生活を創作活動の基盤とする。 2013年、竹山流津軽三味線を修得。以降、日本各地の⺠謡、新内、⻑唄などの古典三味線音楽や東アジアの伝統音楽に学ぶ。 先人達の魂の結晶ともいえる様々な伝統文化や信仰を介して、土着の精神文化や洗練された美意識を学び糧としている。 国内外の様々な舞台、神社仏閣、路上、自然の中などで幅広く演奏活動を展開し、様々な音楽家との共演も重ね現代に息づく独自の三味線音楽を創造している。

Yuuji Hiromoto (tabla)
Tabla player, mainly playing solo, moved to India in 1995 and started playing tabla in Varanasi style. Around 1999, he began performing in earnest in India and Germany. Since then, he has been actively performing not only Indian classical music, but also interacting with artists of various genres, exploring and developing his own unique sound, and performing live mainly in the Kansai area.

ソロ活動をメインに活動中のタブラ奏者。1995年に渡印。バラナシスタイルのタブラを始める。1999年頃からインド、ドイツで本格的に演奏活動を開始。その後はインド古典音楽だけでなく、様々なジャンルのアーティストと交流し、独自の音を模索し、展開を重ね、関西を中心に積極的なライブ活動を行っている。

Electronic musician/producer active as a member of SOFT, Kobeta Piano, KOKENSHOW, EUTRO, UCND, Final Drop, Goo Choki Paa, and others. He has been involved in numerous sessions and productions with artists from other fields, including video works, live drawing and projection mapping, and has been involved in many masterpieces as a sound engineer.

SOFT、Kobeta Piano、KOKENSHOW、EUTRO、UCND、Final Drop、Goo Choki Paa等のメンバーとして活動する電子音楽家/プロデューサー。 映像作品、ライブドローイングやプロジェクションマッピングなど、他分野のアーティストとのセッションや制作を重ね、サウンドエンジニアとしても数多くの名盤に関わっている。

J.A.K.A.M. (JUZU a.k.a. MOOCHY / NXS /CROSSPOINT)
東京出身。15歳からバンドとＤＪの活動を並行して始め、スケートボードを通して知り合ったメンバーで結成されたバンドEvilPowersMeの音源は、結成後すぐにアメリカのイラストレイターPusheadのレーベル等からリリースされる。DJとしてもその革新的でオリジナルなスタイルが一世を風靡し、瞬く間に国内外の巨大なフェスからアンダーグランドなパーティまで活動が展開される。 ソロの楽曲制作としても米Grand RoyalからのBuffalo Daughterのリミックスを皮切りに、Boredoms等のリミックス等メジャー、インディー問わず様々なレーベルからリリースされる。2003年にキューバで現地ミュージシャンとレコーディングツアーを敢行したのを皮切りに、その後世界各地で録音を重ね、新たなWorld Musicの指針として、立ち上げたレーベルCROSSPOINTを始動。
2015年から始まった怒濤の９ヶ月連続ヴァイナルリリースは大きな話題になり、その影響でベルリン／イスラエルのレーベルMalka Tutiなどからワールドワイドにリリースされ、DJ TASAKAとのHIGHTIME Inc.、Nitro Microphone UndergroundのMACKA-CHINとPART2STYLEのMaLとのユニットZEN RYDAZ、Minilogue/Son KiteのMarcus HenrikssonとKuniyukiとのユニットMYSTICSなど、そのオリジナルなヴィジョンは、あらゆるジャンルをまたぎ、拡散し続けている。また音楽制作のみならず、映像作品、絵本や画集 のプロデュース、野外フェスOoneness Camp”縄文と再生”を企画するなど活動は多岐に渡る。

Born in Tokyo, he started playing in bands and DJing at the same time when he was 15. As a DJ, his innovative and original style and his activities have quickly expanded from huge festivals to underground parties both in Japan and abroad. In 2003, he went on a recording tour with local musicians in Cuba, and since then he has been recording all over the world, and started his own label, Crosspoint, as a new guideline for New World Music.
In music production, he has also produced video works, picture books and art books, and organized the outdoor festival “Jomon and Rebirth” in 2012. 9 consecutive months of vinyl releases in 2015 became a big topic, and his fourth album was released at the end of that year, which led to the worldwide release of his new album on the Berlin/Israeli label Malka Tuti. HIGHTIME Inc. with DJ TASAKA in 2017, and ZEN RYDAZ, a unit with MACKA-CHIN of Nitro Microphone Underground and MaL of PART2STYLE, in 2018. In the same year, his music under the name of J.A.K.A.M. was released in analog form on the French label HardFist, which led to a live performance at the huge 30,000-person Nuits Sonores Festival in Lyon, followed by a DJ tour of Europe and Israel. In 2019, the production of MYSTICS, a unit with Marcus Henriksson and Kuniyuki of Minilogue/Son Kite, which has a worldwide following, will begin, and the long-awaited album will be released in 2021.

SINKICHI
90年代初頭よりプレイし続けるている日本のアンビエントDJのパイオニア。SOFT、AOA、Based on kyoto、Churashima Navigatorなど、数多くのバンドにコアメンバーとして参加してきた。
沖縄のベースミュージックレーベル「budryukyu」と京都の電子音楽レーベル「松ノ実ト蟾酥」を主宰している。
また、マスタリングエンジニアとして17853 RecordsやCrosspoint labelのヴァイナルマスタリングを手がけ、様々なリイシューワークスに携わっている。
