GGHEDは音楽家のガウタ・グランリとビデオアーティストのガブリエラ・ゴンザレズの抽象的な音楽とライブビデオのデュオです。ヨーロッパ各国で演じ、今回は日本初来日です。
過去 2 年間、ガウタとガブリエラは、それぞれの芸術的領域を 1 つのサイケデリックなオーディオビジュアル パフォーマンスに融合させる作業に取り組んできました。ライブ音楽とビデオに即興的なアプローチを使用して、イメージとサウンドが融合する体験を創り出し、それらが互いに反応して 2 つを 1 つの多感覚出力に融合しようとすることを目指しています。ガウタのギター、エレクトロニクス、ボーカルの予測不能で曲がりくねった使い方は、ガブリエラのリアルタイム ビデオ作品によって視覚的に翻訳され、そして最終的には切り離せない方法で互いに影響を与えます。

GGHED is an abstract music and live video duo from Norway/Belgium between musician Gaute Granli and video artist Gabriela Gonzalez. After performing all across Europe, this will be their first time to perform in Japan.
Over the past two years, Gaute and Gabriela have worked on merging their respective artistic realms into a singular psychedelic audio-visual performance. Using an improvisational approach to live music and video, they strive to create an experience that eludes the senses, where image and sound coalesce, reacting to each other in an attempt to merge the two into a single multisensory output. Gaute’s swerving, unpredictable use of guitar, electronics and vocals are visually transliterated by Gabriela’s real-time video compositions, the one influencing the other in subtle, disquieting and ultimately inextricable ways.

ガブリエラ・ゴンザレズ
2012年以来、ガブリエラ・ゴンザレズは、ストップモーションアニメーションとデジタルビデオ編集を組み合わせて、紙のコラージュや粘土の彫刻を組み合わせたサイケデリックな動きのあるビジュアルスタイルを発展させてきました。輝くオブジェクト、変異するモンスター、奇妙な環境が、素朴でシンプルな形で一体となり、人間の意識に深く根ざした物語を描き出します。それは、何か魔法のように親しみやすく、心温まるものです。彼女は、ベルギーのアンダーグラウンドの複数のミュージシャン、Le Ton Mité、Pizza Noise Mafia、Timelash、Embassador Dulgoon、Bear Bones, Lay Lowなどのために映像を制作してきました。

Gabriela Gonzalez
Using basic knowledge of stop-motion animation and digital video editing together with paper collages and clay sculptures, Gabriela Gonzalez has been developing her own style of psychedelic visuals in motion since 2012. Glowing objects, mutating monsters and bizarre environments come together in a naïve and honest form portraying stories that are deeply embedded in our human consciousness, like something magically familiar and heartwarming. Over the years she has worked with several musicians from the Belgian underground, making eye-popping video clips for artists such as Le Ton Mité, Pizza Noise Mafia, Timelash, Embassador Dulgoon and her brother Bear Bones, Lay Low.

ノルウェーのギタリスト、パフォーマー、シンガーのガウタ・グランリは、ねじれたビーズの集合体のような、甘美な狂気を探求しています。彼の音楽は心霊フォークミュージックで、どこかで知っているような気がする歌詞で未知の言語で歌われ、そてらがエフェクトペダルでめちゃくちゃにされたポップサージと共に混沌としています。その音楽の世界には不快で絶望の埃のようなメランコリーが居座っています。

ガウタ・グランリの他のプロジェクトには、Rump State、Firmaet Forvoksen、そしてLionel Fernandezとのデュオが含まれます。彼はUltra Eczema、KRAAK、No Lagos Musique、Éditions Cave12などのレーベルから最新のレコードをリリースしています。

Gaute Granli
Norwegian guitarist-performer-singer Gaute Granli, explores a sweet madness by donning a fantastic collection of strange twisted stretched beads, filled with ghost/haunting folk music, which one has the impression of knowing from who knows where, of lyrics sung in unknown vocabularies and of pop surges deboned by a psychedelic gnome messing everything up with effects pedals. Everything works and magically “chaotically” holds together with this dusty melancholy of despair uncomfortably and permanently inhabiting each level of his fascinating sound universe. Gaute Granli’s other projects include Rump State, Firmaet Forvoksen, and a duo with Lionel Fernandez. He has recent records out on Ultra Eczema, KRAAK, No Lagos Musique and Éditions Cave12.

Chaase∞なホお　は　音、光、動き、未知なものを通して、超現実的な世界を表現しています。
Chaaseはギターシンセサイザーで別世界の音を弾きながら言語のない歌を歌う、抽象的な即興曲を演奏し、なホお、は光と動き、そして様々な素材を使う事で、彼らの関わり合いが神秘的な瞬間を作りあげていきます。

Chaase∞なホお expresses a surreal world through sound, light, movement, and the unknown. Chaase performs abstract improvised songs playing otherworldly sounds on the guitar synthesizer and singing in melodic languageless vocalizations, with なホお using light, movement, and various materials, together creating a mystical moment through their interactions.

Tomoe Inoue
Tomoe Inoue, former owner of “Kissa Ino”, now serving as the flight attendant of the fictional monthly radio CD-R “Radio Jodoji-bin”, where she personally rescues, introduces, and lays to rest endangered sound sources. In her spare time, she quietly creates and performs solo instrumental pieces using vintage Casiotones, analog synthesizers, and rhythm machines. Her fourth solo album (or perhaps a sonic prescription?) “PHARMACY MUSIC” is now available.
