SUPERPHOSPHATE is a tribute to popular dance in the broadest sense, with a repertoire ranging from folk dances to modern grooves. To achieve this, acoustic instruments (saxophone, accordion and violin) are mixed with much more electronic and curious instruments (samplers, talkbox, “bidules” and computer keyboards), designed and built by Matthieu Metzger aka Dr Systole. A video artwork interacts with the music in order to create a sonic and visual journey that is sometimes poetic, sometimes nerdy and psychedelic. SUPERPHOSPHATE is an oldschool electronic ballroom, an 8-bit fever dream, like a end-of-the-world geek party. Watch it, listen to it, dance to it.

Luan Banzai is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist based in Kyoto. His practice moves between sound, image, and movement, exploring states of presence and improvisation. As a DJ, he creates vibrant and immersive soundscapes, blending rhythms from the Black diaspora (jazz, funk, soul, rap) weaving them with Brazilian sounds and influences from Japanese culture.

コロナ禍において自宅をインドに近づけるために、インドのレコードを聴きながらカレーをつくる活動をはじめる。インドの音楽をより楽しむために、近隣諸国のレコードも買うようになり、戸惑う。BGMにより空間が唐突にアジア、アラブ化するのを楽しんでいる。
UrBANGUILDは、イベント終了後、24：00までノーチャージのBAR営業をしています。
