Super Gum

2010年代初頭のシンガーソングライター／ポストロックのハイブリッドバンドから、現代のインストゥルメンタル・エレクトロニック・アートロックバンドへと、その姿を劇的に変化させてきたSuper Gum。中心メンバーのアナトール・ダミアン、アリ・ロドリゲス、ギャスパー・シックスの3人は、常に新たな音、新たな旋律、そして多様な影響の理想的な融合を追い求め、進化を続けています。

ブリュッセルの音楽シーンを牽引する彼らは、フリーインプロヴィゼーション、ジャズ、パンク、ポップなど、ジャンルを超えた幅広い分野で活躍。Fievel is Glauque、Garance Midi、Electronic Pancakes、Whomanなど、名だたるバンドにも名を連ね、その才能を遺憾なく発揮しています。
デビューEP「GUM!」は、ベルギーの音楽シーンとメディアから熱狂的な支持を受け、セカンドEP「Milieu」ではベルギーのレーベルMAGMAとコラボレーション。そして、最新EP「Rawettes」では、4トラックレコーダーによるライブインプロヴィゼーションを基に、粗削りなカセットサウンドと精緻なAbletonトラックを融合。DIY精神と最新テクノロジーが生み出す、唯一無二のサウンドスケープを創り上げました。

“Super Gum is a band that has undergone many changes over time. From a hybrid singer/songwriter/post-rock band in the early 2010s to an instrumental electronic art-rock band in the curent time, the three core members of the band (Anatole Damien, Ari Rodriguez and Gaspard Sicx) are always exploring new sounds, new melodies and the ideal fusion of their diverse influences. Indeed, the three musicians are active in many different areas of the Brussels music scene, including free improvisation, jazz, punk, and pop. They also play in many established bands in Brussels and beyond, such as Fievel is Glauque, Garance Midi, Electronic Pancakes, Whoman, and so on. Their first EP, “GUM!,” was well received in the scene and the Belgian press. Their second EP, “Milieu”, was made in collaboration with the Belgian label, MAGMA. With their third EP, “Rawettes”, the band returned to a more experimental approach to composition. They recorded live improvisations on a four-track recorder and then crafted and composed on the raw material of the recordings. The result is a unique blend of rough cassette sounds and clean produced Ableton tracks, showcasing a balance between their DIY roots and the precision offered by new technologies.”

山内弘太|KotaYamauchi

1986年生まれ。京都、堀川団地在住。ギタリスト。国内外問わず、歌もの・映像・ダンスなど様々な形態、環境における即興演奏を主体に活動し、折坂悠太（band）など多くのバンドにも参加。堀川会議室などでの音楽イベント企画、サウンドエンジニア、楽曲制作・提供など活動は多岐に渡る。

武田菜月

バンドでの音楽活動を経て2021年頃から鍵盤楽器を使った作曲を始める。同時期からソロやセッション形態でのライブの機会を重ねている。参加バンドは風の又サニー、quaeru、マタマタなど。2024年10月ソロアルバム『白のひと月』をリリース。
