Danish-Argentinian guitarist Mark Solborg has since 2000 been active on the european scene as leader and co-leader of the groups Solborg 4+4+1, Mark Solborg Trio feat. Evan Parker & Herb Robertson, Maniscalco/Bigoni/Solborg, ON DOG, Solborg/Banke/Heebøll, the spatial surround-project Omdrejninger feat. Axel Dörner & Ingar Zach, works for solo guitar, collaborations with Simon Toldam, Lotte Anker, Chris Speed, Thomas Lehn and many others. The versatile improviser and composer cherishes a personal and instrument-idiomatic approach to the guitar and has to date produced and released 20 albums with original music. Scores for teater, performance and film is also a reoccurring part of the Solborgian universe. His work as guitarist and composer has recieved extensive inter- national praise and has been nominated and premiered by Danish Music Awards, Reumert and The Danish Arts Foundation.Solborg has also co-founded the jazz and contemporary music recordlabel, publisher and artist collective ILK, and has worked actively in boards and jury’s of JazzDanmark, DJBFA a.o. www.solborg.dk

Susana Santos Silva is a trumpeter, improviser and composer from Porto, Portugal. The last years she has been considered one of the strongest emerging voices in contemporary jazz and improvised music by the international press. She leads her projects Impermanence and Life and Other Transient Storms (with Lotte Anker, Sten Sandell, Jon Fält and Torbjörn Zetterberg), and co-leads duos with Zetterberg (also in trio with Hampus Lindwall), Kaja Draksler, Jorge Queijo, Alexandra Nilsson, and a quartet with Christine Wodrascka, Christian Meaas Svendsen and Håkon Berre. She has toured as a regular part of the Anthony Braxton Trio (!), Mats Gustafsson’s Nu Ensemble, Fire! Orchestra, LAMA, Torbjörn Zetterberg Och Den Stora Frågan and Coreto. www.susanasantossilva.com 

The award winning Simon Toldam is one of Scandinavia’s most exciting and distinguished musicians, having released 14 albums as a leader and co-leader. He is a five-time winner of Danish Music Awards – among these “Best Album of the Year” at Danish Music Awards Jazz 2019 – and is a member of the Danish jazz and contemporary music recording label, ILK Music. In 2015, he received the prestigious 3-year grant from The Danish Arts Foundation. Besides leading/co-leading a number of groups, Toldam is in high demand on the scene as sideman in various, jazz/new music settings. His main focus is currently leading his own trio and the new constellation Riedel/Berg/Toldam, both orchestras presenting the music of Toldam, showing all of his orchestrational abilities and his intriguing way of conveying his own music. www.simontoldam.com
